Omega Ministries
WHO WE ARE
The Omega Ministry, a branch of the Wyldewood Ministry Development Fund (WMDF), exists to provide short-term financial support to trained national pastors, with a primary focus on foreign fields. Established in 2000 by Wyldewood Baptist Church, Omega enables national pastors—especially those planting churches—to become self-sustaining.
Omega partners with fundamental Baptist missionaries who disciple believers, train pastors, and communicate needs and oversight. Funds help cover early ministry costs such as Bible school resources, student lodging, and pastoral training. Once trained, pastors often face financial and logistical challenges as they establish churches. Omega bridges this gap with one-year support grants, renewed as needed.
National pastors bring unique advantages: cultural familiarity, language fluency, lower living costs, and no immigration barriers—making support significantly more efficient than funding foreign missionaries.
